12th annual Pets in the Park is scheduled for Saturday, October 9th from 10 am until 3 pm at Bergfeld Park in Tyler. All proceeds benefit the Humane Society of East Texas.

Pets in the Park promises to be fun for everyone including pets.

Businesses and organizations - we would love to have you participate. Registration is easy! Download, print, fill out the registration form and return to us with your check. See you there!

There will be good food, animal contests and lots more. The event will begin at 10:00 am with a Blessing of the Animals scheduled for 10:15. Dogs from the Humane Society’s animal shelter will be available for adoption. Fun contests for pets will be held throughout the day with a panel of celebrity judges awarding prizes.

2:00 Best Pet Trick

Petsmart dog trainers will be on hand for dog obedience demonstrations. Back by popular demand this year are the Weeney Dog Races that promise to be hilarious. Pet related organizations and businesses will be on hand to offer pet advice.
